Privod and RusHydro signed a contract for the supply of engines-generators for the Kuban PSPP.

In April 2020, LLC Elektrotyazhmash-Privod and PJSC RusHydro signed a contract for the supply of engines and generators for the needs of the reconstructed Kuban PSPP.

The Kuban PSPP is located at the head of the Bolshoy Stavropol canal and is the highest stage of the Kuban HPP Cascade, consisting of ten stations.

As part of the comprehensive hydroelectric power plant modernization Program implemented by PJSC RusHydro, all six hydroelectric units of Russia's first pumped storage power plant will be replaced with new, highly efficient equipment, which will increase the plant's capacity and electricity generation.

In accordance with the agreement, LLC Elektrotyazhmash-Privod will supply six engines-generators with a unit capacity of 3.2 MW for generator mode, and 3.5 MW for engine mode.. The equipment will be designed and manufactured taking into account modern achievements in the field of power engineering.

LLC Elektrotyazhmash-Privod has considerable experience in designing and manufacturing hydrogenerator equipment.. The company manufactures hydrogenerators and hydrogenerators-air-cooled engines in a wide range of capacities from 1 to 300 MW, vertical and horizontal versions, meeting all Customer requirements.
