TAD-430-6KUHL1 for a new generation 2TE35A mainline freight locomotive

On the eve of the professional holiday – the Day of the Machine Builder, certification work in the RS FGT on the traction asynchronous motor TAD-430-6KUHL1 with a capacity of 430 kW was completed. A certificate of conformity of the Eurasian Economic Union has been obtained, which confirms that this engine complies with the requirements of technical regulations TR CU 001/2011 "On the safety of railway rolling stock".

The engine is designed to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy necessary for the rotation of the wheelset of a new generation 2TE35A mainline freight locomotive with an adaptive control system.

In accordance with the contract with Traction Components LLC (Sinara Group JSC), the first batch of traction engines in the amount of 16 pieces was manufactured.

Earlier, GST-3505-1800U2 traction synchronous generators were manufactured, certified and transferred to the Customer for the same locomotive.
