Traction generator GST-3505-1800 U2 has passed the certification procedure

In December 2022, Privod LLC received a certificate of conformity of the Eurasian Economic Union on compliance with the requirements of TR CU 001/2011 "On the safety of railway rolling stock" for a synchronous traction generator GST-3505-1800 U2 with a capacity of 3505 kW.

The certificate was issued by the Federal Budgetary Institution "Register of Certification in Federal Railway Transport".

The generator is designed to complete the traction drive of a new generation 2TE35A mainline freight locomotive with an adaptive control system. It is part of the power plant and provides power to the traction drive by converting the mechanical energy of the diesel engine of the locomotive into electrical energy.

In 2022, 22 units of GST-3505-1800 U2 generators were manufactured and accepted by the Customer - Traction Components LLC.
