Traction generators

Privod LLC manufactured head samples of synchronous traction generators GST-3505-1800U2 with a capacity of 3505 kW and a rotation speed of 1800 rpm.

GS generators are part of the power plant and provide power to the traction drive on the new generation 2TE35A mainline freight locomotive with an adaptive control system.

Currently, one generator has been handed over to the Customer for testing with a diesel engine, acceptance and certification tests are being carried out on two other generators by accredited testing centers: JSC "VNIKTI" and JSC "VNIIZHT".

GST generators in accordance with the requirements of TR CU 001/2011 are required to undergo the certification procedure in the Register of Certification on Federal Railway Transport (FSUE "RS FZHT").
