The seventh hydrogenerator of the Ust-Khantayskaya HPP is ready for operation

On August 30 of this year, the complex testing of the seventh hydrogenerator SV 845/135-40 UHL4, manufactured by Privod LLC, as part of the hydroelectric unit No. 1 of the Ust-Khantayskaya HPP, was successfully completed.

According to the results of individual tests and comprehensive testing, the hydrogenerator for the start-up complex No. 7 was recognized as serviceable and suitable for operation.

The commissioning of this hydroelectric unit will complete the comprehensive modernization of the Ust-Khantayskaya HPP, which lasted 9 years.

The new hydrogenerators produced by Privod LLC differ from the old ones not only by the use of modern materials, but also by a more reliable" joint-free " stator design and a unit capacity increased to 73 MW. The modernization of the Ust-Khantayskaya HPP allowed to increase the total capacity of the station from 458.5 to 511 MW.
