The 24 MW hydrogenerator was put into operation at the Belorechenskaya HPP of LUKOIL-Ekoenergo LLC.

At the end of December 2019, the replacement of hydroelectric unit No. 3 at Belorechenskaya HPP, part of LUKOIL-Ekoenergo LLC, was completed. The SV 525/110-28UHL4 hydrogenerator with a capacity of 24 MW, manufactured by Elektrotyazhmash-Privod LLC, was put into operation as part of hydroelectric unit No. 3.

The design of the hydrogenerator provides air cooling in a closed cycle. A brushless exciter is used for excitation.

The commissioning of hydroelectric unit No. 3 completed the replacement of the main hydro power equipment of the Belorechenskaya HPP, which was conducted since 2017. During this time, two hydroelectric units were completely replaced with an increase in the unit installed capacity of each from 16 to 24 MW. The total capacity of the Belorechenskaya HPP was 48 MW.
